Catello's Italian restaurant was seeking to rebrand and develop a to-go pasta deli that would reach a wider audience. The hand-lettered type used in the logo pays homage to the different pastas from the owner's homeland of Italy. I used three tiles re-imagined from ancient Rome distinctly featuring forms of pasta. These tiles represent values that I believe the company should embrace: vibrancy of flavor, the nostalgia of heritage, and modern artisanal flair.
